RK ended up spending a lot of time with his ninety-year-old grandfather, Lt. Mr. A.R. Kapoor who was his caretaker in the early years of his childhood. As RK grew older, his inclination towards helping others nurtured. He fondly took interest in helping the aged and got associated with the “Helpage” India, raising funds at various levels.

In the ‘90s when Gujarat was struck with a massive earthquake, RK spent a lot of his time there. The village was adopted by his company GPL, helping in the reconstruction and re-allocation of the affected people. RK financed and helped in setting up an NGO called Khushi which helps the poor children in their remedial education and vocational training. He is the chief patron of the organization. He also sponsors and actively helps the school going children in Bhowali, Uttarakhand. During the covid times he supported the needy by distributing food. Later, he also sent few trucks loaded with shoes and slippers which were provided to the laborers walking barefoot, back to their villages, hundreds of miles away. RK has a special place in his heart for the animals. He sponsors the treatment and care of the dogs in Bhowali, Uttarakhand and within his vicinity in Delhi.

His company often organizes Blood Donation Camps. RK plans to set up and organization which would focus on supporting the needy for the treatment of eyes & vision in the coming future.
