Sports have always been RK’s interest, and he has excelled in many to the state level. To begin with Table-Tennis, Cricket and Badminton are to name a few. However, he has played Carrom Board, Athletics, Swimming at the state level.

He has also shown interest in Bodybuilding and won the first prize gaining the title of ‘Best Physique’ batch74-75, Delhi University. Besides becoming an expert horse rider, he has won prizes at club level for Kite Flying as well.

Golf he took up golf and represented India as the Golf Captain in the World Corporate Golf Tournament. RK started playing this sport after completing half a century of his life winning several trophies and prizes in Golf. This includes the European lighting Golf Trophy in England.

He captained the GPL Team and won all India Corporate Golf Trophy, representing India in the World Corporate Golf Tournament in Le –Manga Spain.

He revived the Governor’s Cup Golf Tournament in Nainital (Uttarakhand) and sponsored it through his Company GPL for several years, till the UK Government decided to take it over.
